The Venue: Greenpoint Loft
Greenpoint Loft was the perfect backdrop for a couple who are effortlessly cool, stylish, and completely themselves. With exposed brick, soaring ceilings, warm wood, and an unmistakable downtown Brooklyn edge, the industrial space offered the perfect foundation for a wedding that felt sexy, beautiful, fun, and deeply personal. Rather than trying to transform the loft, we embraced its raw character and layered in unexpected design moments, creating a celebration that felt elevated but never overly polished.
The Ceremony
For the ceremony, we brought the space to life with lush greenery, sculptural palms, and expressive red blooms set against the warmth of the original wood beams. The ceremony backdrop felt almost like a living installation, with foliage framing the space and bursts of red adding a little drama. Whimsical animal sculptures appeared throughout the design, including a curious raccoon accented with a red anthurium and a striking peacock nestled among the greenery. Above, vintage crystal chandeliers and starburst lights brought glamour and a sense of play, while deep green velvet curtains and sculptural busts added another layer of personality. The result was romantic without feeling traditional, unexpected without feeling overdone, and completely reflective of the couple.
Cocktails & Dinner
For cocktails and dinner, the atmosphere became more layered and intimate, pairing sleek furnishings with the rawness of the loft. Suede seating, playful prints, natural stones, and cool blue-gray tones created stylish lounge moments for guests to gather. As guests moved to dinner, the palette deepened with rich eggplant linens beneath ornate chandeliers, while lace tablecloths brought a romantic, vintage touch to the tables. Ornate green-and-white plates added pattern and personality, complemented by lush floral centerpieces that doubled as ice buckets for wine. Green and red grapes brought an abundant, garden-inspired detail to the tables, while animal table numbers carried the playful motif from the ceremony into dinner. The mix of polished furniture, rich textures, unexpected details, and organic elements created a reception that felt sophisticated, eclectic, and unmistakably theirs.
The After Party
When it was time to dance, the celebration took on an even moodier, sexier energy. Rich reds and burnt orange warmed the loft, with red draping creating an intimate backdrop and burnt orange lounge furniture inviting guests to settle in between songs. Disco balls covered the ceiling, scattering flashes of light across the room, while moody lamps created a low, atmospheric glow. At the center of it all, a custom checkered dance floor featured the couple’s logo, adding one final personalized touch to the party.
