A Bridgerton Inspired Bowery Hotel Wedding

The Venue: Bowery Hotel

The Bowery Hotel, with its rich history and effortlessly chic ambiance, provided the perfect backdrop for Patricia and Roger’s Bridgerton-inspired wedding! The Bowery Hotel with its gorgeous exposed brick walls, antique furnishings, and warm candlelit glow exudes old-world charm with a touch of New York edge. Its grand arched windows, vintage rugs, and ornate ironwork echoed the romance and refinement of the Regency era, seamlessly complementing the pastel florals and delicate details of the wedding design. The juxtaposition of the venue’s moody, intimate atmosphere with the lightness of soft hues and elegant décor created a visually stunning contrast, capturing both the drama and romance of the couple’s Bridgerton-style design for their wedding.

The Ceremony

We partnered with Designs by Ahn to infuse the space with lush, Bridgerton inspired hues, bringing the romance of the Regency era to life. Pastels—lavender, peach, blush, powder blue, and buttery yellow—cascaded through the venue creating an air of whimsical elegance. An asymmetrical floral installation on the Bowery’s iconic fireplace served as the perfect backdrop for the couple’s ceremony, framing their vows in a dreamy, painterly display of blooms. Crisp white bistro chairs added a fresh, modern touch, brightening the dark space and making the colors of the florals pop even more. Guests were greeted by a show-stopping floral arrangement upon entry into the event space, setting the tone for an evening of grandeur and romance. The result was a breathtaking interplay of color and texture, where the softness of the florals balanced beautifully against the venue’s rich brickwork, antique details, and warm candlelit glow.

The Reception

As guests transitioned from the cocktail hour on the Bowery’s balcony into the reception space, they were welcomed by an atmosphere of refined vibrancy echoing the Bridgerton inspiration. The tables were dressed in soft pink linens, complemented by lavender napkins, green glassware, and sleek white porcelain vessels, creating a striking yet harmonious palette. Florals carried over the romance of the ceremony, with powder blue stems adding a modern edge alongside lush pink, peach, and yellow blooms. The same chairs were used from the ceremony space creating a through line. Tapered candles in an array of hues—lavender, bright pink, and deep navy—provided an elegant yet playful contrast against the pastel tablecloths, casting a warm, inviting glow. Overhead, the Bowery’s chandeliers became a focal point, adorned with cascading pink plumes that added texture and movement, drawing the eye upward and enhancing the immersive ambiance. Guests found their seats through a classic escort card display, each place setting personalized with bespoke menus, ensuring a seamless blend of tradition and contemporary charm. The result was an enchanting dining experience, where every detail felt intentional and artfully curated.

The Cake + Other Personal Touches

The couple's beloved dog remained an endearing focal point throughout the design, with a custom handprinted portrait featured on canvas gift bags for their loved ones, making each gift feel personal and heartfelt. The wedding cake, designed with white piping, reflected the asymmetry of the ceremony’s florals, creating a visual connection between the two spaces. Guests were delighted with pastel flip-flops, each inscribed with the word "love" in a color palette that echoed the wedding’s soft hues. In the fireplace room, a shimmering disco ball was brought in to inject an element of fun and surprise, creating a dynamic moment as guests were greeted by the band. The mix of personal touches and unexpected elements kept the energy elevated and the design cohesive, from start to finish.
