A Romantic + Windswept Tented South Hampton Wedding
The Venue
Cassie and Pavel's romantic, windswept tented wedding in South Hampton is unforgettable! The festivities took place at the prestigious Sebonack Golf Club, known for its world-class course overlooking the Long Island Sound. With its rich history, the club was the perfect venue, as Cassie's grandfather was a founding member. We utilized the greens of the golf club to create a tent big enough to accommodate their 200-person wedding. Jove Meyer Events helped Cassie create a wedding inspired by Marie Antoinette, beautifully intertwined with Czech traditions to honor Pavel's heritage, making their celebration truly unique and memorable.
The Ceremony
The ceremony took place on the putting green, where Mimosa Florals created a soft and romantic design inspired by the clubhouse's interior colors, enhanced with vibrant spring hues. They used natural grasses and carefully placed aisle pieces to create a stunning visual effect. It gave the illusion that the flowers were sprouting directly from the ground, adding a magical touch to the ceremony decor. From their seats at the ceremony, guests could see the beautiful Sperry tent where the reception would take place. This added an element of anticipation and excitement as they looked forward to the celebration that would follow. Cassie and Pavel recited their vows as the wind picked up around them, adding a dramatic and romantic touch to the moment.
Cocktail Hour
The cocktail hour was held in the histori clubhouse, offering stunning views of the golf course and the water beyond it. Jove chose linens that played off the pastels of the clubhouse interior while introducing a modern twist, and we collaborated with the stationer to create a charming escort card display. The cocktail menus, featuring illustrations of the couple's pets, were a hit with all the guests.
Reception
he reception tent resonated with the incredible music of The Eleven Band as guests arrived. The tablescapes reflected Cassie and her mother's love for Marie Antoinette and the colors of spring, with custom Czech cookies at each seat. Katie Fishwick's stationery, inspired by Marie Antoinette, was both timeless and playful. Chandeliers swayed gently with the wind as guests danced the night away. The couple incorporated many Czech traditions, such as sweeping broken glass off the floor together, adding personal touches special to their families. Guests enjoyed the photo booth and continued dancing blissfully as the sun went down.
Let them Eat Cake!
When the couple envisioned a spectacular sweets display, we introduced nine stunning cakes. Their macarons and cakes were true showstoppers, beautifully arranged on gold cake stands at varying heights, while candelabras with pink candles illuminated the display throughout the night.
