A Bold + Blissful 74 Wythe Welcome Party

The Venue: 74 Wythe

74 Wythe proved to be the dream setting for this bold and blissful welcome party. With its playful Art Deco details, soaring ceilings, and a striking glass retractable roof, the venue offered a dynamic backdrop that transformed effortlessly from golden-hour cocktails to late-night revelry. Guests were treated to sweeping, cinematic views of the Manhattan skyline—an ever-present reminder of the glamour and vibrancy of New York City—while the atmosphere inside felt both intimate and celebratory. What made 74 Wythe so ideal was its unique ability to marry architectural character with contemporary energy: a space that felt stylish, transportive, and unmistakably fun. For a couple whose vision was equal parts chic and playful, the venue provided the perfect canvas for an evening that was as unforgettable as it was full of joy.

The Signage + Details

Custom Dolly-inspired signage, dreamed up by Emily Baird, set a playful yet polished tone for the celebration. Designed in a lively palette of pinks, yellows, greens, and peaches, each piece felt like a nod to the couple’s shared love for Dolly—equal parts glamorous and tongue-in-cheek. The signage didn’t just guide guests through the evening; it became part of the visual storytelling, weaving humor and personality into every corner of the party. The peach Dolly napkins—another thoughtful Emily Baird touch—were impossible to miss. Both cheeky and chic, they layered in color and character while embodying the couple’s admiration for an icon who represents resilience, individuality, and unapologetic fun. These thoughtful design choices transformed everyday elements like menus and napkins into memorable details, reminding guests that the heart of the celebration lay in joy, self-expression, and a love story told through intentional, personal design.

The Flowers

The floral design by AP Bio captured the joyful spirit of the evening in a symphony of vibrant color. Arrangements spilled over with peachy garden roses, buttery yellow blooms, and crisp white accents, all grounded by layers of fresh, abundant greenery. The palette of pinks, yellows, and peaches echoed the couple’s bold and blissful theme, weaving a thread of warmth and whimsy through every corner of the space. Beyond the hues, it was the sculptural quality of the florals that made them so striking—their movement and dimension played beautifully against the clean, modern lines of the venue. Bouquets and tablescapes felt simultaneously artful and approachable, creating an atmosphere where guests could marvel at the beauty without ever feeling removed from it. Fresh, radiant, and undeniably full of life, the flowers did more than decorate; they embodied the energy of the couple themselves, infusing the evening with a sense of abundance, joy, and effortless elegance.

Floating Dinner

We entrusted Fig + Pig to bring the couple’s favorite flavors to life, beginning with fresh, seasonal appetizers that set a lively tone as guests mingled and sipped cocktails. Passed bites highlighted the couple’s love for elevated comfort food, blending familiar flavors with unexpected twists. As the evening unfolded, abundant buffets invited guests to graze at their leisure, encouraging movement and conversation throughout the space. Guests lined up for classics like creamy macaroni and cheese and perfectly crisp fried chicken—a nod to the couple’s Southern roots in Nashville—dishes that felt indulgent yet elevated in Fig + Pig’s signature style. Known for their thoughtful approach to organic and seasonal ingredients, Fig + Pig designed stations that balanced heartiness with elegance, ensuring the dining experience remained relaxed, convivial, and deeply personal. Every bite reflected both comfort and care, tying the menu back to the couple while embodying the kind of intentional, soulful cooking that defines Fig + Pig.

The Entertainment

The night’s entertainment was every bit as bold and blissful as the celebration itself. Guests were first welcomed with awe and laughter by the incredible illusions of magician Karl Koppertop, whose interactive tricks served as the perfect icebreaker, sparking instant connection and delight across the room. Just as the party reached a joyful high, a surprise Dolly-inspired drag performance by Screaming Queens lit up the space. Sequins, sass, and show-stopping vocals came together in a heartfelt nod to the couple’s shared love of Dolly, echoing the playful touches woven throughout the design—from custom signage to peach Dolly napkins. The performance was as unexpected as it was unforgettable, turning the dance floor into a stage and leaving guests cheering. To cap it all off, the couple’s favorite nightlife DJ, DJ Louis XIV, took over the decks, filling the venue with irresistible beats and pop anthems that kept the celebration alive well into the night. Together, the evening’s performances struck the perfect balance of spectacle and heart, ensuring the energy never waned and every guest felt part of something extraordinary.
