A Magical Welcome at Liberty Warehouse

The hours before a wedding is full of excitement for the couple, the family, and for us. The anticipation of seeing all that we have worked for coming together for the couple is extraordinary and is part of what makes our work so special. And when the celebration begins with a welcome party that is as curated and meaningful as the wedding itself, we know it’s bound to be a memorable time. The night before Meera + Bart’s big day was a beautiful occasion where family and friends celebrated the couple and the joy of being together.

The evening was held at the Liberty Warehouse, a location full of charm and beautiful views of the city. Outside, guests enjoyed the romantic ambiance of being right on the water. It was the perfect place to revel in the magic of being together again. Inside, a canopy of lights illuminated the vivid reception. Contrasting table linens and bright florals in pink and orange tones made for a gorgeous palette. Fruits and spices brought a vibrancy of color and further abundance to the design. We loved combining such unique elements, and florist Pic and Petal brought it all together beautifully.

Throughout the night, personal touches marked the occasion. Dhara Suvarnakar of Mehndikälogie offered henna for the guests, after previously applying the bride’s and her family’s. Meera further highlighted her culture with her favorite ice cream, Malai, which crafts its flavors with the spices and tastes of India. Later, we were entertained when Meera surprised Bart with a performance by magician Ryan Oakes. We loved those creative and meaningful moments, as did the guests.

The whole evening set the tone for the wedding to come, hinting at the aesthetic, meaningful accents, and abundance of love that was to be expected on their wedding day. A huge thank you to Mili Ghosh for capturing the love and details of Meera + Bart’s celebrations.
