Flashy and Fun at Brooklyn Bridge Park
Candice + Edouard are a one of a kind couple with a one of a kind style. From our very first meeting, we knew that their big day would be full of flair and special surprises. On the big day, Edouard rocked his look with a bright blue suit and flashy details, such as his music-inspired cuff-links and rockin’ pinky ring. A yellow bow-tie completed the fun look and color-scheme. Candice looked timeless with classic jewelry and a divine dress. A yellow bouquet and fabulous blue heels topped off the look. And the great Amber Gress was there to capture all the colorful and bright style!
After their intimate ceremony at Pebble Beach in Brooklyn Bridge Park, the bride surprised her new husband with a vintage Ford truck to travel to the reception site in style. We imagine nothing felt better than riding away as newlyweds, headed to an evening of romance and celebration with friends and family.
Once all the guests arrived at the Greenpoint Loft, they were welcomed to a space full of industrial charm and colorful accents that were true to Candice + Edouard’s taste. Paper planes with various country’s flags served as a fun escort card set up. On the tables, yellow florals by Metropolitan Plant Exchange were both sweet and vibrant and set the tone for the celebratory mood. And Fig + Pig killed it with a fabulous meat and cheese station to start, and a delicious family-style meal. The couple even had a personal cigar roller on-site to provide a special and unique gift to their guests. Such a fun idea!
Music was a huge part of the evening. As a musician himself, the groom jumped in front of the mic throughout the night, and truly made a lasting impression when he sang and played the father - daughter dance song. It was a beautiful moment that no one is soon to forget.
More than anything, Candice + Edouard wanted their guests to feel at home and welcome to enjoy and celebrate. Delicious food, flowing cocktails and special touches made that possible. What a fabulous night it was!
