Beauty in the Unexpected at Liberty Warehouse
We love creating unexpected and exciting new styles for our weddings, and couldn’t have been happier with the way Alex and Gaby’s came to life. The couple wanted a style that was visually interesting and incredibly lush, yet modern and clean at the same time. In terms of atmosphere, they were looking for a black tie affair with a casual and relaxed vibe. Looking sharp and feeling at home with their family and friends, Alex and Gaby’s big day was the perfect balance between the unexpected, while remaining classic and sophisticated.
This clean design of the space allowed the florals and natural details to shine, and shine they did. Putnam & Putnam created gorgeous vignettes of cacti and desert accents that paired uniquely with the lush florals. It was an unexpected pairing that we fell in love with. Inspired by a particularly gorgeous set of tiles, Julia Bez brought our stationary designs to life with hand-done calligraphy for the menus and escort cards, thrilling the couple and guests alike. The pairing of these distinct design elements resulted in a one-of-a-kind design scheme that we were thrilled about. A big thanks to photographer, Tim Ryan Smith for capturing it all so well!
Alex and his groomsmen looked sharp in black tuxedos, while Gaby’s girls let their spirits shine in bright colors and styles suited for each lady. And Gaby was stunning in a seamless gown with a fantastic silhouette. Lace details on her gorgeous veil added a touch of romance to her overall look. Just perfect!
The couple danced the night away and kept the party going with their fabulously fun after party at the Red Hook Winery. We loved the romantic touches and moments that were uniquely them as a couple and were thrilled to see the unique design come together so well.
