Summer wedding season is upon us! The warm weather and unfettered joy that summer weddings brings has us reminiscing on Allie + Pat’s extraordinary Foxfire Mountain House wedding. It was a whimsical celebration in the lush landscape of the Catskills with Allie + Pat and their closest friends and family. And of course, the photos by the wondrous Chellise Michael Photography have us begging, take us back!
The Foxfire Mountain House Ceremony
The outdoor ceremony was an incredible moment in their big day. A floating floral archway provided a bright focal point amidst the natural beauty of the grounds, a gorgeous place for the couple to make their promises to each other. It was a personal and joyous ceremony, a moment to be remembered.
The Reception and Wedding Details
After the ceremony, the couple used the rest of the grounds to continue their celebration. We love a tent wedding because it provides so much design possibility. Foxfire Mountain House is full of modern bohemian details that inspired Allie + Pat’s design. They wanted a clean and bright atmosphere, with a little bit of sparkle, that brought the natural beauty of the area in. Hops Petunia took summer blooms to a new level of colorful whimsy. Lush arrangements in bright and bold colors popped above the light toned wooden tables. As the stars came out, guests found themselves under the vines and disco balls that floated above the colorfully tiled dance floor.
The whole weekend was an upstate disco dream. We loved every moment, every smile, and the tangible love between the beautiful couple!
