Jove and the team meticulously prepared the property to accommodate a stunning tent, transforming their land into an elegant celebration venue. By hosting the wedding at Blair's home and infusing the space with Iman's Algerian culture, guests were given a special glimpse into the couple's unique love story. Every detail was carefully curated, from the layout of the grounds to the thoughtful design elements that highlighted the natural beauty of the location. The result was a seamless blend of personal touches and a lively atmosphere, creating the perfect backdrop for the couple's special day.

The Paper

Emily Baird brought the couple’s celebration to life with beautifully designed branding that tied together every detail of the event. From the welcome bag tags to drink signs, umbrellas, napkins, invitations, ceremony programs, escort cards, and menus, each piece showcased the couple's rich color palette of oranges, maroons, and blues. A signature fig, symbolizing their unique connection, was incorporated into every element. The menus were especially striking, featuring an oil-painted design that paid homage to Iman’s Algerian heritage while also reflecting the couple’s playful and fun-loving style, adding a meaningful and artistic touch to the dining experience. The typography throughout the paper suite was modern and letterpressed, adding a sophisticated, tactile quality to the design. The sleek, contemporary lettering was complemented by handwritten names, which brought a whimsical and personal touch to each piece. This combination of bold typography and playful, handwritten details perfectly reflected the couple's fun-loving spirit and added a charming contrast to the more refined elements. The balance between modernity and whimsy made the invitations and other stationery feel both elegant and approachable, capturing the essence of Blair and Iman's celebration.

The Ceremony

The couple exchanged their vows in front of Blair's family home, with the ceremony taking place on the stone steps overlooking a beautiful field. Saipua created a breathtaking floral design that perfectly complemented the natural beauty of the setting. The flowers, in shades of pinks, oranges, maroons, blush pinks, and yellows, were arranged in beautiful, organic shapes, with rich green leaves weaving through the blooms, adding texture and depth to the design. The arrangement felt as though it had sprung naturally from the earth, yet provided a stunning focal point for the ceremony. The lush greenery and vibrant flowers framed the stone steps, enhancing the intimate and serene atmosphere while introducing a lively, yet timeless palette that was both enchanting and effortlessly integrated into the landscape. Saipua also created a stunning hanging floral arrangement on Blair's parents' porch, which seemed as if it were meant to be there all along. Guests sat on benches adding to the congenial feeling. As soon as the couple kissed, guests released white confetti adding to the romance.

Cocktail Hour

Cocktail hour was hosted in the family’s beautiful home, where the pillars were creatively used to bring the escort display to life. Fig and Pig’s stunning food displays and appetizers set the perfect tone for the evening, showcasing the best of local produce and adding a vibrant, fresh touch to the event. The combination of the elegant setting and the delectable offerings created a warm, inviting atmosphere, setting the stage for the rest of the celebration. Saipua's bud vases added a beautiful touch of color and softness to the space. Strategically placed throughout the cocktail area, the delicate vases featured an assortment of blooms in complementary hues, further enhancing the vibrant atmosphere. Their understated elegance brought an additional layer of charm to the setting, creating a harmonious balance between the bold food displays and the natural beauty of the surroundings.

Tented Reception

Guests were guided to the tent along a candlelit path, with a live band serenading them as they crossed a wooden floor. Inside, the ceilings were adorned with baskets and Algerian pendants, paying homage to Iman’s family, while lush greenery cascaded from above, infusing the space with natural beauty. The wooden chairs, floors, and the modern bar from Patina added warmth and an inviting touch to the tent’s design. Light tablecloths provided a soft contrast to the rich maroons, greens, and oranges of the menus, while the modern ceramics and patterned sage glasses brought a playful yet sophisticated flair. Custom hand-painted tagines, incorporated by the catering team, added a whimsical and unique touch to the dining experience. The cake by Aimee France encapsulated the fun and whimsy the couple wanted to incorporate, featuring seasonal fruit and flavors that reflected the couple's love for both elegance and playfulness. The carefully curated details created an atmosphere that was both artful and elegant, blending tradition with contemporary style in perfect harmony.
